We spent almost three months touring Vietnam with our kids and Phu Quoc was one of our favorite beach destinations. From the warm aqua-blue colored waters to the lush forests and stunning beaches, there’s plenty for young and old alike to explore in this unique corner of Vietnam.

Where is Phu Quoc?

Phu Quoc (pronounced Fu-Kwok) is a triangle-shaped island with 21 islets located in the Gulf of Thailand in southern Vietnam. Strangely, it’s only about 9 miles off the coast of Cambodia and is actually closer to Cambodia than it is to the Vietnamese mainland.
